"Remember why you started"

Passion & Purpose Photography was formed for exactly this sentiment. I have always been drawn to bold, emotive, and colorful photography.

In 2022 -While serving as a Bridesmaid in my long time friends wedding, the photographers were running behind and had yet to arrive. Time was scarce, and it was nearly time to leave for the ceremony; I couldn't let a detail be missed. With only a cell phone, I found myself going around and trying to capture and document "the details" for my friend to have a few small memories to look back on.

While arranging the table with lace, florals, and positioning the brides shoes and jewelry our friends made mention that I've been doing this for years. "Amy's always taking pictures"

Admittedly I've been artistic and creative; but it was on this particular day that numerous people pointed out my unique vision & told me that perhaps this was my calling. As the ceremony had passed and the reception was winding down; the photographer and her assistant approached me and began asking about why I haven't pursued a journey into Photography. The next day I began researching cameras, lenses, and the fundamentals I became enthusiastic about learning beautiful art that allowed me to express my creativity.
